Laurence Tidy (b. 1993, Guildford) works in assemblage across varied media, utilising primarily found materials and objects to create wall-based sculptures. He is the 2025 winner of the Cass Art x Phoenix Studio Award and in Summer 2024 received a ‘Highly Commended’ award in the Homiens Art Prize. His first solo show will take place in the Window Gallery at Phoenix Art Space, Brighton, in August 2026. He has exhibited in open call and group exhibitions in Newhaven, St Leonards-on-Sea, Stowmarket, Hailsham, Barcelona, and Brighton. His first curated group exhibition, States of Assemblage, took place in December 2025 in St Leonards and featured 31 artists and 53 works.
